2nd Saturday 

    Celebrated on June 11th 2022, Saturday. Valid for all states in India. This holiday is given for various reasons, such as, Indian employees work 6 days a week, with no holidays on Saturdays, the rest of the world works 5 days a week.

    So the second Saturday is designated as a free day for those devoting so much time and effort in their work. These holidays for the banks are decided by the RBI, Reserve Bank of India.

YMA Day, Guru Har Gobind Ji’s Birthday

Celebrated on June 15th 2022. Wednesday. Valid for Jammu, Kashmir and Mizoram. This holiday is celebrated for the remembrance of Sri Guru Har Gobind Sahib Ji. 

He was the sixth of the ten gurus in Sikhism. He gave autonomy to the Sikh community within the Mughal empire by leading and creating a Sikh military force.

So that the Sikh community could be able to defend themselves from such aggressions. He ruled the longest out of all the Sikh gurus.

4th Saturday

Celebrated on June 25th 2022, Saturday. It is valid for all states. Similar to the holidays given on the 2nd Saturday, the holidays given on the 4th Saturday are given by the demand made by the employees.
