Tulsi Mata ki Aarti

Tulsi Mata, or Tulasi or Vrinda in our ancient scriptures, was transformed by lord Vishnu into the sacred Tulsi plant, which is since then planted by Hindus across the world and worshipped. 

Vrinda Ji was transformed into Tulsi because he admired her impeachable piety and chastity. Lord Vishnu also promised her of getting married on that day of Kartik. Goddess Tulsi is called “tulsi mata” as she is respected as a mother.

Sab yogon ke upar, sab rogon ke upar,

Significance of Tulsi Mata ki Arti

To avoid many factors and ill omens such as premature death or Shani’s vision, one should worship Tulsi Mata twice a day, especially in the evenings. Someone who does the Tulsi Sandhya Puja Regularly is believed to be blessed by all the goddesses and gods.

Not only the bad omens but Tulsi Mata ki aarti and worship also help in enemy liberation, clear debt and cure diseases. It is also believed that since Tulsi Mata was very dear to Lord Vishnu as we said above
