1. Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen is the first time winner of Miss Universe in the year 1994. She has also been a winner of Femina Miss India in the year 1994.
Regarding her early life, Sushmita Sen was born into a Bengali Baidya family. Her father Shubeer Sen was working as the Indian Air Force Wing Commander.
Whereas her mother Subhra Sen is a jewellery designer and owner of a Dubai based store.
Education wise, she started from Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi and later continued with St. Ann’s High School in Secunderabad.
Beyond this, she didn’t continue her education. Being a Bengali she keeps moving between Mumbai and Kolkata. she loves and enjoys herself at both the places.
Later, in the year 2016 Sushmita Sen also graced the event as Miss Universe Judge. Post her winning streak in 1994, she started her Bollywood career.
Her debut movie was Dastak in the year 1996 where she was seen opposite Sharad Kapoor. Then she was seen in Tamil action film Ratchagan in 1997.
Two years later, she won Filmfare award for the best actress in supporting role in Biwi No. 1. After that she has been part of many bollywood films and left her mark behind.
In 2020, she started her television journey with Aarya which went on to be super successful. Her role also fetched her Critic’s choice award in 2021.

Lara Dutta became the second winner of the Miss Universe title in the year 2000. She was born in the year 1978 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
A well known Indian actress and model who also won Miss Intercontinental 1997.
Lara Dutta was born to a Hindu father and anglo Indian mother in her home town - Ghaziabad. L K Dutta, her father is a retired wing commander.
Her elder as well as younger sister have served in the Indian Air Force.
Her family shifted to Bangalore in the year 1981 where she completed her schooling from St. Francis Xavier’s High School.
Later she pursued economics and communication from Mumbai University.
Regarding her personal life, she married Indian Tennis Player Mahesh Bhupati in 2011 and her first born daughter came into this world in 2012.
Regarding her social beliefs, she has been quite vocal about female rights.
She has been extremely supportive of the “Me Too” movement and praised women who are coming out of the curtain shields and bringing their truth to the forefront.

Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu has been awarded the 70th Miss Universe title on 12th December, 2021.
Harnaaz has been crowned Miss Universe 2021 by her predecessor Andrea Meza of Mexico.
She brought the prestigious title home after a huge gap of 21 years.
And many were quick to comment that this is indeed ironic because a 21 year old brought this win to the country after 21 long years.
She answered in her final round “The biggest pressure the youth of today is facing is to believe in themselves, to know that you are unique and that’s what makes you beautiful.
Stop comparing yourselves with others and let’s talk about more important things that’s happening worldwide”.
She completed her bachelor’s in information technology and master’s degree in public administration. This 21 year old Chandigarh model has been a Bollywood lover since her childhood.
She has been a yoga and fitness freak right from the very start. She is also keenly interested in swimming, dancing and horse riding.
She hails from a middle class family of Gurdaspur and has been building up her portfolio, body and mind since a very early age.
She started her career with modelling when she was 17 years old. She won the title of Miss Chandigarh in 2017 and competed for Miss India title in 2019 where she earned the 12th position.
