  • Step 2: The branch official responsible will ask for your name, account number, date of birth, and so on. After confirming your identity, an application form will be given to you. Fill it in following the given instructions.

  • Step 3: Submit ID proof like an Aadhaar card or PAN Card. The bank official will check the details and verify them. A new debit card will then be issued to you in 7 to 10 working days.

Online Method to Unblock SBI ATM Card

Here are steps to know how to unblock SBI Debit Card online through the SBI Yono app:

  • Step 1: Open the SBI YONO app on your phone. If you do not have it yet, download it and register on the app with your bank details.

  • Step 2: The app’s homepage has a ‘Quick Links’ section. Tap on it and select ‘Service Request.’

  • Step 3: A new window will be opened, and below ‘Emergency,’ you can find an option called ‘Block Debit Card.’ Tap on this option to proceed further.

  • Step 4: Enter your internet banking password and tap on ‘Activate Card.’

  • Step 5: Enter your debit card number, enter the OTP sent to your number, and tap on the ‘Submit’ button. After this step, your SBI debit card will be automatically unblocked.

How to Unblock SBI Debit Card through the SBI Yono Lite app:

  • Step 1: Download the SBI Yono Lite app and register on it. Log in to the app and tap on the ‘Manage Cards’ alternative.

  • Step 2: Now, tap on the ‘Manage Debit Card’ option. After that, choose the SBI Debit Account number linked with the card and select the SBI ATM Card.

  • Step 3: Here, you will find options to reactivate blocked services such as International or domestic uses, e-Commerce transactions, ATM transactions, etc. You can also choose the POS Limit, ATM Limit, etc.

  • Step 4: An OTP will be sent on your mobile number linked with your SBI account. Enter this OTP and click on the ‘Submit’ option. After this step, your SBI ATM Card will be unblocked.
