Significance Of Char Dham
In Hinduism, there are four holy places which are known as the Char Dham. Each Dham holds its importance in the different yogas. In Hinduism, there are four yoga and currently, the fourth and the final yoga has just begun.
The Char Dham also signifies the four yogas like the Badrinath temple in Uttarakhand signifies Satyug, the Rameshwaram temple in TamilNadu signifies Yretayug, and the Dwarika temple in Gujarat signifies Dwaparyug, the Jagannath temple in Odisha signifies Kaliyug.
If a person goes to visit these four temples it is said that the person is on the Char Dham Yatra. Uttarakhand has four more dams which are also known as the Chode Char Dham.
