Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti:

  • This auspicious day will be celebrated on January 09,2022. This day holds a great value for Sikh community as they celebrate the birthday of their 10th Guru Gobind Singh. This is going to be the 355th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh. 

Republic Day:

The 73rd Republic Day of India will be celebrated on January 26,2022 which is on Wednesday. In the year 1950, our constitution came into effect and since then we celebrate January 26 as Republic day. 

Vasant Panchami:

But when his own son refused to do so and started worshipping Lord Vishnu, his ego got hurt. He asked his sister Holika, who had the power to withstand heat and fire to sit on a pyre with his son.

But his plan failed when Holika was burnt in the fire and his son Prahlad was found alive. This day is celebrated as Holika dahan. 

S. Bhagat Singh Martyrdom Day:

Every year March 23rd is celebrated as Martyrdom day to give a tribute to our freedom fighters who bravely fought for the country. This day is marked as the death anniversary of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivram Rajguru. 

Ram Navami:

Ram Navami is celebrated to remember the day when Lord Ram was born. April 10, 2022 will be celebrated as Ram Navami this year. 

Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti:

April 14 is celebrated as Ambedkar Jayanti to commemorate Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar who played a major role in Indian politics.

This day is usually celebrated in the northern part of India. October 7th is celebrated as Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti in states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan. 

Gandhi Jayanti:

The father of our nation was on this day. Every year, 2nd October is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti. This year, this day falls on Sunday.

Vijaya Dashami:

This festival is also known as Dussehra. It is a popular Hindu festival that marks the victory of Lord Ram over the demon Ravana. The festival will be celebrated on October 5, 2022 this year.

Eid-e-milad:
