Sunder kand

sundar kand

Sunder kand is a part of the Hindu epic of India, Ramayana. It is believed that the Sundarakanda was originally written in Sanskrit and was composed by Valmiki. It is also the only chapter in the epic that talks about Hanuman and not about lord Rama.

According to legend, Lord Hanuman was called "Sundara" by his mother Anjani. Sundara stands for charming and handsome in this context.
