Significance of Pradosh vrat

The pradosham vrat is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. On this auspicious day, people who believe in this tradition fast through the day.

They do not consume any eatables. However, those who are diabetic or have some sort of medical condition are exempted from the fast.
