Maha Shivaratri (1 March 2022)

It is an annual Hindu festival held in honour of Lord Shiva.

Losar ( 3 March 2022, Thursday in Sikkim )

It commemorates the first day of the lunar Tibetan calendar's new year. It is the first day of the month of Magh's new moon.

Panchayati raj Divas (5 March 2022, Saturday in Odisha) 

It is celebrated to honour Biju Patnaik, who was the exalted former chief minister of Odisha. HE contributed to the revival of panchayat elections happening in the country in the year of 1992.

Holi (18 , 19 March 2022, in Delhi)

Nationally celebrated except Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Manipur, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu & West Bengal

Holi is known as the festival of colours, it is one of the most uplifting festivals in the country, bringing the society together bringing positivity in their lives.

Doljatra (18 March 2022, Friday in West Bengal)

This festival is devoted to The Lord Krishna, it is of greater importance to the people of Bengal, because it is the birth anniversary of the eminent Vaishnava, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Bihar Day (22 March 2022, Tuesday in Bihar)

It is celebrated annually, because this was the day when Bihar was ruled out of Bengal presidency in the year 1912.

S. Bhagat Singh's Martyrdom Day (23 March 2022, Wednesday in Haryana)

On this day along with Bhagat Singh ji, Raj guru and Sukhdev were executed by hanging by the Britishers. Bhagat Singh was one of the freedom fighters of India.
