To celebrate the 355th birth anniversary of 10th Guru Gobind Singh, 9 January, 2022 will be celebrated as Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti.

2. Republic Day:

3. Vasant Panchami:

5. Maha shivaratri:

This day is dedicated to Lord Shiva and goddess Shakti. This is a special day for all the devotees of Lord Shiv. It is believed that Lord Shiv comes on Earth and fulfills the wishes of his disciples.

9. Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti:

11. Buddha Purnima:

12. Bakri Eid:

17. Gandhi Jayanti:

Another important day for all Indians is Gandhi Jayanti. This day is dedicated to the father of the nation who got us freedom without violence. Every year, Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October to commemorate the great leader.

Every school, college, education institution, and corporate firm is closed during this day to honor Mahatma Gandhi and his contribution to Indian society.

18. Dussehra:

Dussehra or Vijay Dashamai is the day of positivity. Lord Ram killed the demon king Ravana on this day and saved goddess Sita. 5th October will be celebrated as Dussehra this year.

19. Diwali:

Talking about festivals and not talking about Diwali is next to impossible. This day has a great historical value attached to it. This is the most important festival for Hindu community.

On this day, Lord Rama returned to ayodhya after 14 long years which added a joyous spirit to the city.  On Diwali, people decorate their homes and make delicious food.

20. Guru Nanak Jayanti:
